Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa School Board meets tonight to consider reversing its policy on scholarships for special needs students to private facilities. T
he board had previously voted not to follow a new state law, claiming it was unconstitutional. Tulsa Democrat lawmaker Jabar Shumate hopes the board changes its position.
Some districts felt the law was unconstitutional and the first step toward school vouchers.
