Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa City Council votes to over ride the Mayor. Mayor Bartlett had vetoed the council's resolution of no confidence in acting city attorney David Pauling. Councilman John Eagleton made the over-ride motion last night.
Councilman Rick Westcott says the vote was about Pauling and his skills, and not about poking the mayor with a sharp stick.
Pauling says he has no intention of stepping down.
