Tulsa, OK – Tulsa police recapture 4 escaped inmates
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa police say four escapees from the Turley Correctional Center are back in custody.
Police say in a news release that officers acting on a tip found Laquita Bruner about six miles north of the downtown Tulsa center just after 2:30 p.m. Monday. Officers later found Sabrina Belcher, Tankia Huffman and Tuesday Kalumula about eight miles north of the lockup.
Bruner was serving eight years for accessory after the fact to manslaughter, Belcher was convicted on drug and burglary charges, Huffman on drug and driving under the influence counts and Kalumula as an accessory after the fact to burglary.
