HOMINY, Okla. (AP) — The accomplice of an Oklahoma man scheduled to die Thursday says he was disappointed the condemned man didn't confess when given the opportunity at a clemency hearing last month.

Timothy Shaun Stemple is sentenced to die by injection at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. Prosecutors say he and Terry Hunt beat Stemple's wife to death with a bat and ran her over with a truck along U.S. 75 in Tulsa.

In a prison interview Sunday, Terry Hunt says he knows nothing that would change Stemple's fate.

Hunt said that he would come clean if he had lied about the crime. He said it is hard enough living with the victim's death on his conscience.
