$1-Million Powerball Ticket Claimed in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An attorney representing the winner of a $1 million Powerball drawing has submitted the winning ticket and claimed the prize.

Lottery officials said Thursday that attorney William Henley claimed the prize Tuesday in Oklahoma City on behalf of Lucky Stars Trust.

The name or names of those who bought the ticket were not released.

The ticket matched the first five balls from the Aug. 8 drawing — but did not match the Powerball. The numbers are 3, 7, 11, 15 and 28. The Powerball number was 12.

The winning ticket was sold at a convenience store in Lawton and lottery officials say it is the 20th prize of $1 million or more in Oklahoma.
