Tulsans Displaced After Apartment Fire

KWGS News

Thick smoke pours from the roof-line of the Brown Apartments in Tulsa. The complex is tucked inside a quiet neighborhood near 12th and South Darlington.

The blaze was reported in the cinder-block structure shortly after nine this morning. Some residents say they first learned of the fire when the fire trucks rolled to the scene.

Resident: “The fireman can around and said, everyone out, everyone out. I guess they were afraid it was going through the roof.”

The Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
