National Weather Service/Owasso 411

RINGLING, Okla. (AP) — Police in Ardmore say a 1-month-old infant has died after being driven in a car without air conditioning.

Authorities say the baby died Monday as the infant's family drove from Ohio to the Ringling area.

Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports  the parents sought help when they noticed the baby wasn't breathing. A 15-month-old child was taken into protective custody.

Investigators say only one of the car's windows would roll down.

Police are conducting a child neglect investigation.
