It’s nice outside today but that’s not the case tomorrow. Tulsa National Weather Service’s Brad McGavock says the weather “is going to be quite different than what we have.” He says to make sure your kids have coats on tomorrow before heading out to school.

It is going to turn much, much colder overnight and may cause issues. McGavock says you may prevent these problems if you act right away. He says if you haven’t drained your water hoses for the winter or have exposed pipes, you want to do so because temperatures will get down to the low 20’s tonight.

McGavock says, “It’ll be pretty much a killing freeze across all of the area.” He adds that the weather won’t keep getting colder because it’ll warm up a little bit later in the week.
