Downtown Tulsa celebrates St. Patrick’s Day early… at 11 am. Arnie’s Bar is one of the many bars to open its doors for the festivities early. One early bird is ready to participate in this annual celebration.
"We do it every year, and it's just been a ritual for us to come out here and enjoy the festivities and the good people we meet along the way. No. I'm not Irish, but it's always been fun every year."
Another, who does take pride in his Irish heritage, takes this holiday to heart.
"Yeah, I usually try to make it downtown every year - have a couple green beers. I like the downtown life [during St. Patrick's Day]; it's a good experience.
The annual festivities in the Blue Dome District continue to bring in the early crowd with food, drinks, and live music.
