TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Local film buffs are invited to the historic Circle Cinema next week view a mix of foreign films, documentaries, comedies and dramas combined in a special collection for Tulsa's first-ever Jewish film festival.
The festival runs Sunday until Thursday and is offered through a partnership between Circle Cinema, Jewish Federation of Tulsa and Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art.
The event will present two films each night.
Themed receptions will be offered during the festival — including a special exhibition on the origins of comedy to coincide with the screening of "When Comedy Went to School," a U.S. documentary on the birth of modern stand-up.
The event is open to the public and tickets are available at Circle Cinema.
