GROVE, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma officials say a 3-year-old Jay boy has died from injuries sustained in a weekend crash.

The Oklahoman reports  the child died Sunday after being injured Saturday while in a vehicle with a 23-year-old driver in Delaware County near Grove. Troopers say the Jay woman failed to yield to another driver, who wasn't injured.

The woman was treated at an area hospital and released. Another passenger in the vehicle was also injured.

Troopers say the boy was in a child booster seat but that neither adult was wearing a seat belt.
