The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 21 new COVID-19 deaths and 127 new cases on Tuesday.
Since the first case was reported March 6, 2,807 Oklahomans have now caught the illness, and 164 have died. In all, 588 people have been hospitalized.
Just five of the new deaths happened in the past day. The rest happened last week. All deaths were adults 50 or older, and 13 were 65 or older.
Three deaths happened in Tulsa County, which now has 25 total deaths, the most in the state. Tulsa County is second in the total number of cases with 432. Oklahoma County is No. 1 in total cases with 590.
As of late Monday, adults 65 and older accounted for 32% of COVID-19 cases and nearly 82% of deaths. Nursing home and other long-term care facility residents and workers accounted for more than 17% of cases, and almost 34% of deaths were tied to a facility.
