Black people who settled in Oklahoma created as many as 50 all-Black towns after the Civil War. Today, 14 of those settlements remain. Starting Friday, people from all over the country will gather in Tulsa to tour several Black towns. The organizer of the Black Towns Revival Weekend, Cymone Davis, recently spoke with KWGS about the particulars. Listen above for the conversation.
