A suspect is dead after being shot in a neighborhood near 21st and Garnett. Police say the wound was self-inflected,
It started this morning after a donut shop near Admiral and Garnett was robbed. A Tulsa Police woman spotted the suspect about 5:30 this morning near 14th and Garnett. When she tried to talk with him, a gun was pulled and he fired shots at her. She was not hit.
The suspect then ran into a neighborhood. Another officer spotted the man and he too was fired upon. He was not hit, either.
Officers called out the police helicopter to search for the man, about 7:15 this morning, he had another confrontation with officers. This time officers returned fire, but the man turned the gun on himself.
