Remains Identified as Missing Eufaula Family

OSBI

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Skeletal remains found in Latimer County have been identified as those of a Eufaula family that disappeared more than four years ago.

The Oklahoma medical examiner's office said Thursday that the remains found in November by hunters are those of 44-year-old Bobby Jamison, 40-year-old Sherilyn Jamison, and 6-year-old Madyson "Stormy" Jamison.

Agency spokeswoman Amy Elliott says the cause and manner of the deaths is unknown and autopsy reports are not fully complete.

The three had been looking to purchase a 40-acre plot of land near the Sans Bois Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma when they disappeared in October 2009.

The remains were found near Kinta in northern Latimer County — about three miles from where the Jamison's pickup truck was found about a week after the family was last seen.
