Kenyan Delegation to Visit Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A delegation of about 20 Kenyan government officials are to visit Oklahoma City for a training and exchange program on political transition.

The group is due in Oklahoma City Monday for the three day visit with state leaders that include Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb; state Finance Secretary Preston Doerflinger; state Rep. Jason Nelson; Oklahoma County Commissioner Willa Johnson; state Secretary of Agriculture Jim Reese and others.

The group is also scheduled to visit the Oklahoma National Stock Yards and various Oklahoma farms and ranches.

The visit was organized by the Oklahoma City-based nonprofit organization Water4 where former Oklahoma Secretary of Health and Human Services Jerry Regier is director of global resource development.
