TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say an elderly man has drowned in his backyard pool while doing renovation work.
A police spokesman says the man was working on the vacant home Sunday night in hopes of selling it. The spokesman says the pool was in poor condition. The water quality made it difficult for first responders to determine if the man was submerged.
An Emergency Medical Services Authority official says the man was 78-years-old. The man's identity has not been released.
