Money Taken from Tulsa Food Kitchen

Tulsa County Booking photo

A Tulsa woman is charged with two counts of taking money from Tulsa's Iron Gate Food Kitchen. Tanya Moore was charged by the Tulsa County District Attorney's office. She is accused of taking up to $10,000 from the charity that provides hot meals to Tulsa's homeless and disadvantaged.

Iron Gate Director Connie Cronley tells KWGS she was shocked by the revelation. She says as soon as they noticed accounting irregularities authorities were notified.

Cronley says internal changes have been made to prevent this from happening in the future and they are seeking to get their money returned.
