Drug Mix-Up Sends 10 to the Hospital

File photo

Residents of a Bartlesville group home are rushed to the hospital after a medication mix-up. Rather than a dose of the flu vaccine, they were given insulin.

Insulin is a diabetic drug used to control blood sugars. It can be deadly in non-diabetics.

10 people were taken to the hospital for treatment. Bartlesville Police are investigating how the mix-up took place.
