More people are working in Tulsa. That is according to new figures from the Oklahoma Department of Employment Security.
Analyst Lynn Gray has been looking at the numbers. He says the unemployment rate for the Tulsa Metro is now at 4.0%. That is down from 4.8% a year ago. Tulsa County, by itself, was 3.9%
Latimer County in Southeast Oklahoma had the highest rate at 7.5%. Beaver County, in the panhandle, at the lowest statewide rate at 2.3%.
