Hope: The Pathway to Resilience - Clarehouse Community Conversation Series

Hope: The Pathway to Resilience - Clarehouse Community Conversation Series

This is a three-evening series on September 13, 20 and 27.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research found a direct correlation between a person’s experiences as a child and their overall health and behavior as an adult. During three consecutive weeks, attendees will learn about ACEs research, its impact on our community and the science of hope.

September 13
Join us as we screen Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope, a documentary focused on ACEs research and “chronicling the dawn of a movement that is determined to fight back.”

September 20
We will learn more about ACEs research, our individual ACEs score and being aware of other's lived experiences from Dr. Julie Cribbs and her team with The University of Oklahoma Anne & Henry Zarrow School of Social Work.

September 27
“Hope is the belief that the future will be better and you have the power to make it so.” Nic Dubriwny with The University of Oklahoma Hope Research Center will discuss focusing on hope to improve one’s wellbeing.
