Oklahoma City, OK – The Oklahoma unemployment rate was up in the month of May, but just slightly. In a news release from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission shows 111,720 people out of work in the state during May. That is up, one-tenth of one-percent from April figures.
The biggest drop came from the business sector, which reported a job lost of 5,000.
Three sectors, Government, Health & Education and Leisure & Hospitality, reported employment increases over -the-year additions in May.
