Longtime Tulsa TV news anchor Jerry Giordano is arrested on drug related changes. The former Channel 8 / KTUL newsman was taken into custody following a traffic stop late Sunday. Officers say they found meth inside his pick-up.
Police say they initially pulled him over near 41st and South Harvard because of an expired tag on his pick-up. He was booked into the jail and later released on $2,500 bond according to court documents.
This is not his first brush with the law. He was arrested for DUI in 2008.
Giordano was a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter at KTUL-TV from the mid-1990s until 2010. He most recently had been working in real estate.
