In a news conference this afternoon at Tulsa officials announced charges are being presented to the District Attorney’s office in connection with last month’s murder of four women at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments near 61st and South Peoria.
Police Chief Chuck Jordan made the announcement in a 4PM news conference from Police Headquarters in downtown Tulsa.
Four women were found shot to death inside an apartment unit on January 7th. They had been shot execution style. Rebeika Powell, Kayetie Melchor, Julie Jackson and Misty Nunley were all dead when they were discovered.
Two brothers, James Poore and Cedric Poore are in custody. Police are not discussing a motive. However, Chief Jordan did say it was not gang related.
