Elderly Skiatook Man Dies from Home Invasion Shooting

City of Skiatook

SKIATOOK, Okla. (AP) — Police in Skiatook say an 83-year-old man killed in a home invasion robbery may have known his killer.

Kenneth Cooper died Saturday night after being wounded in the chest on Wednesday during the robbery.

Cooper's grandson, Brandon James, says his grandfather was badly beaten before being shot. He also says his grandfather was robbed about a month before.

Cooper was able to call 911 after being shot.
