Inmate Escapes Eastern Oklahoma Prison Recaptured

DOC

HODGEN, Okla. (AP) — Authorities have found an inmate who escaped from a prison in eastern Oklahoma.

Inmate Mark Bennett was reported missing from Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Facility around 9 a.m. Friday. He was located some nine hours later and taken back into custody.

Prison officials say Bennett began serving a 10-year prison sentence in August for possession of cocaine, attempting to elude and destruction of property.
