Officers Held in Fatal Tulsa Shooting

Authorities say two off-duty Tulsa police officers have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager.

Tulsa police say 19-year-old Jeremy Lake was found shot to death Tuesday night on a street near downtown. Few details have been released about the fatal shooting, but authorities say a husband and wife who are both police officers turned themselves in to authorities in connection with the shooting.

Authorities say 54-year-old Shannon Kepler was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder and 48-year-old Gina Kepler was arrested on a complaint of accessory to murder after the fact. Both were booked in the Tulsa County jail, and it wasn't immediately clear whether they had attorneys.

Tulsa police spokeswoman Jillian Roberson says both were off duty at the time of the shooting.
