A federal appeals panel rules against the State of Oklahoma over the casino to be constructed by the Kialegee Tribal Town on the south side of Broken Arrow.
The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, yesterday, overturned a lower court's ruling. That ruling in May of 2012, stopped construction on the casino at 111th South and 129th East Avenue.
The State filed a lawsuit against the tribal group. It argued the branch of the Muscogee Creek Nation did not have the authority to build the casino.
