Thousands of people wrapped around the Guthrie Green in Tulsa just waiting to audition for the final season of the American Idol talent singing TV program.
People from through out the Midwest waited in the hot sun to audition, four at a time. If they were deemed good enough, the got to move to another line and audition again.
A spokeswoman for the Fox Television network, which broadcasts the program, says they were very pleased to the turn-out in Tulsa.
This will be the last time they are in Tulsa however, producers have already announced this is the final season for the program which has been slipping in the all important ratings.
