OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma City woman charged with dressing as a witch and abusing her 7-year-old granddaughter has been ordered to stand trial.

The Oklahoman reports that 50-year-old Geneva Robinson was ordered Friday to stand trial on charges of child abuse and child neglect for allegedly hitting, kicking, scratching, whipping and burning the girl. Robinson's boyfried — 32-year-o;ld Joshua Granger — was also ordered to stand trial on abuse and neglect charges.

Prosecutors allege Robinson, with help from Granger, would abuse the child while dressed as a witch named "Nelda."

Both Robinson and Granger have pleaded not guilty and are jailed on $200,000 bond.
