STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State University and the city of Stillwater will host a memorial service honoring victims, survivors and first responders of Saturday's homecoming parade crash that killed four people and injured dozens more.
The school and city announced the service would be Nov. 3 in Gallagher-Iba Arena on the Stillwater campus.
Killed were 2-year-old Nash Lucas; Nikita Nakal, a 23-year-old MBA student from India at the University of Central Oklahoma; and a married couple, Bonnie Jean Stone and Marvin Lyle Stone, both 65, of Stillwater.
Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb, an OSU graduate, will join school president Burns Hargis and Stillwater Mayor Gina Noble at the service.
Prosecutors allege 25-year-old Adacia Chambers "purposely" drove around a barricade before crashing into spectators and plan to charge her with four counts of second-degree murder.
