A half-dozen people are killed in an overnight crash on wet roads in Mayes County. The crash took place south of Chouteau on Highway 69 early Saturday morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash was south of Highway 412 near the community of Mazie.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a mini-van with seven people hydroplaned across Highway 69 right in front of an on-coming semi tractor-trailer rig. The truck driver tried to stop, but could not.
All of the dead were in the mini-van.
