Tulsa police say a man has been arrested for the death of his girlfriend's 6-month-old son.
Police say the man was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday for child neglect, possession of a controlled drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say he had methamphetamine and several needles when he was found.
Online court documents do not show that charges have been filed. However, Tulsa Police say Kevin Crawford has been arrested and booked on various complaints, including child neglect and drug related offenses.
Police say paramedics were called to a "rundown shed" behind the home of the mother's parents east of downtown Tulsa on Saturday because the child was in cardiac arrest. The boy was pronounced dead at hospital. A suspected cause of death was not released.
The mother told investigators she left the boy with her boyfriend while she ran errands and that the baby was unresponsive when she returned.
