It Should Be a Good Soaking Rain

File photo

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Tulsa for the next several days. The National Weather Service says a storm system that has been in the panhandle for the last few days will now move east and spread rain and thunderstorms across Green County.

The rain will be heavy at times. A total accumulation could reach as much as 4" in the Tulsa area. But, the Weather Services advises 2" amounts will be more likely.

While severe weather is not expected, it can not be ruled out this time of year.
