The Iron Gate Soup Kitchen and Pantry has followed through on its pledge. The organization has filed an appeal in Tulsa County District Court over the rejection of a new site by the Tulsa board of adjustment. The appeal was filed late on Wednesday.
Iron Gate is wanting to relocate to, what is now a vacant lot, near 7th and Elgin. Property owners have objected to the relocation. They have expressed fear it would harm their property value.
