The Margaret Hudson program could not overcome a $300,000 funding cut. That has forced the program to completely shut down. The program helped teen moms continue their education.
Earlier this year, programs in Tulsa were consolidated with those in Broken Arrow. That did not ease the expenses enough to overcome the short fall.
The program had operated in Tulsa County since 1968.
