Muskogee Police are investigating an officer involved shooting. It happened last night near Lawrence and East Side Road in Muskogee.
The man was wanted for shoplifting. When cornered at a home, he apparently tossed a flaming object at police. That is when an officer fired.
The man has been hospitalized. The officer was not injured.
