Halloween Nightmare on BA

O-DOT Traffic Camera

The Halloween morning commute on the Broken Arrow Expressway or Highway 51, was a scary nightmare for Tulsa area drivers.

Slick spots near Harvard caused vehicles to slip and slide. There were several injury crashes, all involving multiple vehicles. The roadway was blocked until emergency crews untangled the autos and provided aid to the injured.

Other icy patches were reported on the Gilcrease and Tisdale Expressways.  Waterline breaks also caused issues at 21st and Riverside as well as 21st and Harvard.
