Tulsa’s Clarehouse Hospice Center is back in operation. The center for the terminally ill was shut down 11-weeks ago when a sewer back up flooded the 75th and South Mingo facility.
Director Kelly Scott says since it was a water back up, insurance did not cover much. Donors paid most of the recovery costs. Clarehouse does not charge clients for its services.
Scott says furniture had to be salvaged and sheet rock stripped before anti-microbial cleaning could begin.
Clarehouse held an open house last night.
