Oklahoma up to 99 Deaths, 2,069 Cases of COVID-19

The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported on Monday three more deaths from and 99 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The illness has now killed 99 Oklahomans since March 18, and 2,069 have been infected since the first reported case on March 6.

A Canadian County man and woman and a Kay County man died from COVID-19 on Sunday. All were 65 or older.

In all, 457 Oklahomans have been hospitalized during the outbreak.

Oklahoma, Tulsa and Cleveland counties continue to be the top three in reported cases. There are 14 counties without a confirmed case of COVID-19.

State officials still anticipate a surge in new cases in the next few weeks but maintain Oklahoma is adequately prepared for it.
