COVID-19 Kills 2 More in Tulsa County, State Reports 102 New Cases

COVID-19 has now killed 18 people in Tulsa County. The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported on Sunday two men between 50 and 64 years old died from the illness.

Statewide, 96 people have now died from COVID-19.

Oklahoma's total number of cases rose to 1,970, an increase of 102 from the day before. Over the course of the outbreak, 453 people have been hospitalized.

The top three counties in total cases remains unchanged. Oklahoma County still leads the state with 435 cases, Tulsa County has 332 and Cleveland County has 264.

Elderly Oklahomans are being hardest hit by COVID-19. Adults over 65 years old account for 34% of infections, the most of any age group, and 80% of deaths.

There have been 499 cases and 14 deaths among 50- to 64-year-olds, and 400 cases and three deaths among 36- to 49-year-olds.
