The Gathering Place Goes Caribbean

The Gathering Place

Gathering Place is bringing the tropics to Tulsa with the signature event, Caribbean Vibes, Saturday, June 22. Spend your Saturday on island time with a day packed full of Caribbean music, dance, food and more dancing. Caribbean Vibes will be a reggae carnival celebrating Caribbean cultures during Caribbean Heritage Month.

Caribbean Vibes is on Saturday, June 22 from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Guests can look forward to one of the region’s favorite reggae bands, Tulsa’s own, The Stylees, performing as part of the festival. Other music performers include Mykal Rose + Sly & Robbie, Reggae Angels, Viva Gaia Street Band, Island Fantasy Caribbean Performers, Tulsa Drum Collective and more!

“At Gathering Place, we are intentional in offering fun and diverse programming that brings the community together in a festive manner and we believe Caribbean Vibes will be a new Tulsa favorite,” said Tony Moore, Gathering Place Executive Director. “Guests will learn more about Caribbean cultures through activities, food and exciting reggae music unmatched by anything Tulsa has ever seen.”
