New Chicago Tabloids

NPR | By David Schaper
Published November 18, 2002 at 11:00 PM CST

David Schaper reports on an effort by Chicago's two leading newspapers to publish special tabloid-style editions targeted to younger readers. Some decry the move an "news bite" journalism. Others defend it as a way to grab readers who wouldn't normally pick up the paper.
