Hellerween: Shorts to Scare You Shortless

Hellerween: Shorts to Scare You Shortless
The Oklahoma Center for the Humanities is proud to partner with Heller Theatre Company and bring back Hellerween! The Halloween-themed play festival features six short plays, all written, directed and performed by local theatre artists. Light bites and a cash bar will be available to attendees. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
As the OCH continues to explore the theme of “SPACE” this year, we look to Hellerween as an event that sees space as transformative. The artists have the task of taking a nontraditional theatre space and utilizing its features to fit the story they are trying to tell. Not to mention, 101 Archer will briefly turn into a haunted house for the event to help get the audience into the Halloween mood.
This year's selected plays are:
"Cornucopia" written by Helen Patterson and directed by Andrew Smith
"Soul Food" written by Rachel Brown and directed by Melissa Johnson
"The Hollow Possession" written by Andrew Smith and directed by Quinn Blakely
"The Patchwork Girl" written by Helen Patterson and directed by Everett LeViness
"Wicked Love" written by Ben Morgan and directed by Kathleen Hope
"You Might Meet a Stranger" written by Quinn Blakely and directed by Kay Shaughnessy
