Tulsa, OK – Ark man arrested in connection with fatal stabbing

(Information in the following story is from: Tulsa World, http://www.tulsaworld.com)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Police say they've arrested an Arkansas man in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Cpl. Scott Anderson tells the Tulsa World that 24-year-old Sammy Leon Hall died at a local hospital early Saturday. Anderson says 31-year-old Rosendo Gutierrez of De Queen, Ark., was at the scene when authorities found Hall and was covered in blood.

According to the arrest report, Gutierrez and Hall were involved in a romantic relationship and had been physically fighting before the stabbing occurred.

Gutierrez remained in the Tulsa County jail Sunday on a first-degree murder complaint with a $500,000 bond. Jail records do not indicate if he has an attorney.
