Copper Theft Reward

Tulsa, OK – A reward is being offered for copper thieves who caused a power outage in this sweltering heatwave .

Stuart Solomon with Public Service Company says there has been an outbreak of copper thefts recently. The latest caused an outage that affected more than eight thousand people in the Southern Hills area two nursing homes included. A reward's being offered of up to five-thousand dollars.

Solomon says P-S-O has implemented heightened security measures at substations and other facilities where copper could be stolen.
