Tulsa, OK – Man convicted in slaying at Tulsa Rib Crib

TULSA, Okla. (AP) A man accused in the slaying of a cook at the Rib Crib restaurant in Tulsa has been found guilty of first-degree murder.
The Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/q7VShK) reports that a jury reached its verdict late Friday, convicting Isaiah Peevy on a total of eight felony counts.
Formal sentencing is set for Sept. 26. Under the recommended life sentence, Peevy would be eligible for parole.
Peevy was charged with the shooting death of Howard "Bud" Stoddard on May 20, 2010.
Two other men are also charged, 19-year-old D'Andre Finnie and 20-year-old Deonte Marshall. They have pleaded not guilty and their trials are pending.
