TULSA, Okla. (AP) Three present or former Tulsa police officers and a federal agent who pleaded guilty or were convicted in a corruption investigation are scheduled to be formally sentenced Dec. 6.
The Tulsa World reports U.S. District Judge Bruce Black scheduled the date Thursday for officer Jeff Henderson, former officer John Gray, retired Cpl. Harold Wells and ex-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent Brandon McFadden.
A federal jury convicted Henderson Aug. 24 on civil rights violations and perjury counts, and Wells was found guilty June 10 on five counts, including conspiracy to steal U.S. funds and use of a telephone to commit a felony.
McFadden and Gray pleaded guilty.
Authorities alleged they were part of a plot in which officers stole money and drugs, conducted illegal searches and fabricated evidence.
