Paden, OK – PADEN, Okla. (AP) A small earthquake was recorded in central Oklahoma just minutes after an earthquake drill was held in the region.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 3.1 magnitude earthquake about 6 miles south of Paden in Okfuskee County at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday. The county sheriff's office reports no injuries or damage following the quake.
It occurred after the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and the Oklahoma Geological Survey held a "ShakeOut" drill at 10:15 a.m.
