Tulsa’s Black Community has had a “suspicious relationship” with the police department over the years. Tulsa State Senator and long time north side activist Judy Eason McIntyre says the professionalism shown by Tulsa Police in handling the recent shooting spree has done a lot to correct that perception.

She is offering high praise over the way Tulsa handled itself following the shooting spree.  Eason-McIntyre says the community has been reassured.

She also praised the city administration as well as the north Tulsa civic and religious leaders.
